What is the process for identifying defects in a property?
We will carry out an internal and external inspection of your property to find any defects.
We then create a comprehensive, detailed and easy to read report, complete with a photo for every item found during the inspection.
A copy of this report will be sent to you and the builder.

Step-by-Step Inspection Process
Book Your Inspection
Get in touch with Us to schedule your inspection at a date and time that suits you best.
On-Site Inspection
Our qualified inspector will arrive on-site as arranged and carry out a detailed internal and external inspection of your property. Every room, fixture, and finish is carefully checked for defects or non-compliance issues.
Inspection Duration
A standard inspection usually takes between 2 to 3 hours, depending on the size and type of property. You’re welcome to be present during the process, but attendance isn’t required.
Detailed Inspection Report
You’ll receive a clear, comprehensive PDF report later that same day — complete with photos, notes, and precise descriptions of every issue found. This document can be easily shared with your builder or developer for rectification.
Ongoing Support
We’re available 7 days a week to provide advice and support while your builder carries out the necessary remedial work.
Follow-Up Inspection
Once the repairs are completed, a re-inspection is recommended to confirm all issues have been resolved. Many clients choose to do this themselves using our detailed report as a guide, but we’re happy to handle the follow-up inspection for a small additional fee of €120.
